WORKSHOP ‘’Use of SDSS and MCDA to prepare for disasters or plan for multiple hazards’’ – DECAT project

On Tuesday, 5th of December 2017, the Final Workshop/Conference, named “Use of SDSS and MCDA to prepare for disasters or plan for multiple hazards’’, of  the DECATASTROPHIZE project was organised by Atlantis Consulting Cyprus LTD in Paphos. Representatives of different Governmental Departments, Universities and Private Companies participated (Paphos District Administration Office, Cyprus Police, Fire Brigade, Cyprus Civil Defence, Department of Forests, Water Development Department, Cyprus University of Technology, etc.) and several civil defence topics were discussed. A Round table discussion followed regarding current practices, future trends and actions to maximise the country level cooperation on civil defence preparedness issues.
